So… what’s in the plan? Winter camp will look a little like this…

We will leave Evergreen Church on Friday the 18th of January in the early afternoon and head to the mountain. We will be staying in a large lodge at Government camp where campers will claim a bed and unwind from the travel. Shortly after arrival, we will have dinner, and the first teaching session. Morning and evening sessions will be interactive, relevant, always encompassed by great worship and followed by small group time where students will get a chance to ask questions to a faith filled adult.

On the second day, Saturday January 19th, we have several activities planned including snow games and activities, a morning of sledding and the option of heading up the mountain for skiing and snowboarding. Skiing and Snowboarding is optional and if you would like for your camper to participate, please ensure you purchase them a lift ticket to Timberline – 12pm-4pm ticket for Saturday Jan 19, 2019 (about $50 on timberlinelodge.com), along with $4 cash for shuttle there and back. We also highly recommend a lesson if your camper is new to the slopes.

Students who choose not to ski/snowboard won’t miss out on a thing! They will have full access to the games room downstairs as well as the freedom to take a walk to the arcades, coffee shops and other stores in Government Camp.

The following days will be packed with winter fun along with rich and thoughtful encounters with God that will encourage each camper to ask the tough questions as they grow deeper in their understanding of God and His great plan for each of them.
